World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your items is an essential aspect of equipping your character. Upgrades boost damage to items and enhancements.
They also offer bonuses and improvements. They are available from the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button can be found on any item. Every item recycled adds level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapons
When the weapon is upgraded it will gain a base damage bonus as well as an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. Certain upgrade components come with cosmetic effects and others provide additional features. These upgrades can be added to armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools, and trinkets. They generally require that the item has an upgrade slot and meets certain specifications. The upgrade component can be removed from a weapon, armor, or trinket, but it is not replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be recovered by using the Black Lion Salvage Kit Ascended Salvage tool, or a high-tier salvaging tool for an item.
In addition to the normal upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded with a Calibration Attribute that improves certain stats such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This can be done through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Based on the tier of the weapon it can be done up to four times.
Once the weapon has reached maximum upgrade, it can be reforged using a variety of different types of upgrades to increase certain stats or add bonuses and effects. A variety of these upgrades can be applied at once, and their effects differ based on the quality of the weapon.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game who can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area as well as Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both upgrade materials differ: Smithing Stones to modify the damage weapons deal and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the standard weapons.
In general, it is advised to improve weapon damage first, followed by armor defense, and finally the other secondary stats as required by your build. It is not unusual to see melee Druids upgrade their weapons before upgrading other gear. This can help increase DPS. This is particularly applicable to enchantments that enhance a weapon's stats and damage.
Armor
Item Upgrades let players enhance the stats of specific weapons, armors, trinkets, and gathering tools. These upgrades may also have other effects, such as an increase in damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item upgrades can be obtained through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, or in loot drops or as quest rewards.
Armor can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most armor upgrades to the next level after an upgrade. This can be done for any type of armor, though certain types of armor cannot be upgraded in any way (such as the armor used to start in Great Sky Island).
Most armor upgrades increase the item's strength or defense by a small amount. Some upgrade components, however, can result in significant increases in defense or strength. This is especially true when upgrading epic items.
Some upgrades provide special abilities which can be activated while wearing armor. These abilities can be useful in combat, for instance providing a boost to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades provide passive effects that are useful like the ability to reduce damage while wearing armor or increasing the chance of avoiding an attack.

Based on the type of armor being used, upgrading an item can require multiple attempts. For example for instance, if a player wants to upgrade a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, the first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with a base defense between 59-67. The second attempt would result in the creation of a Dragonscale armor with a base defense of between 67 and 77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To upgrade their armor players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains found in the game. Each of these locations houses the power of a fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular belief, armor is not useless in The Division 2. Certain armors provide a significant increase in the ability to reduce damage from poison, curse, magic, or fire. This makes them useful for certain builds. There are other ways to boost the stats of armor besides upgrading the armor, for instance using the engineer trait to increase armor penetration or the challenger trait to decrease the weight of the entire armor.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by placing it in a brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a new level of potion effects, and can be repeated to get higher levels of potency.
The potion also gains a custom color code, which the player can select by using /give. This can affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as arrows created by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion colour also applies to the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, mundane, thick and awkward potions now have a brand new brewing texture. In item upgrades , potion healing and potion weakness have been added. There are lingering potions available that can be prepared using dragon breath or splash potions and a strong potion that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue (duration 4 hours). Bug Tracker is the place to report issues relating to this patch.
Trinket
A trinket could be a small, inexpensive ornament or piece jewelry. This can be a necklace, ring or even a tiny flag used to identify a vessel's lateen yard. It can also be a gilded trinket that is attached to the mast of a boat.
This macabre trinket seems to be influencing the denizens of this maze and making them more popular. At the moment it makes all kinds of mimic Xx more prevalent and gives every floor the chance to contain an ebony mimic. Upgrades to this trinket require a small amount of energy.
The magic from this enchanted scepter appears to affect the dungeon itself which makes it more likely to generate water and grass. This trinket at the current level will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with water or grass. It doesn't affect glyphs, enchantments or cursed weapons or armor, or items that are produced to aid in the elimination of danger rooms.
This item, which looks like a newt's eyes is believed to affect your vision in a way that goes beyond simply reducing your field-of-view. This trinket, at its current level, increases the health gained by drinking healing potions and wells of life by X% and gives you mind-sight on enemies within Y tile. This trinket is not stacked with the Increased Senses.
After completing the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by defeating Monsters and inside chests and crates within Skull Cavern. They are not found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket into the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. item upgrader will have an unpredictable impact on the trinket either increasing its duration or enhancing its effects. You can reorge a Trinket as many times as you like, but it will always have an impact that is different from the one it was when you forged it.
You can upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. This will cost you 6 energy and boost the trinket's power by a small amount.
