Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide
The upgrading of your item is an essential component to maximizing the potential of your gear. It lets you add additional bonus stats over the value of your base item.
Each upgrade template comes with several options that can be changed using the edition GUI. These options include the upgrade reference and the upgrading chance.
Upgrade components
As part of the 2.0 update, the method of upgrading weapons and armor in Cyberpunk was redesigned. Upgrade components are scattered across Night City. The item you'd like to upgrade should also have an upgrade slot. When you choose an item to upgrade, the game will show a preview of what the expected stats will be after upgrading, along with the required component or material needed. If you don't have the level or resource to upgrade an item the button will say "Blocked."
Weapons and armor can be upgraded, along with some trinkets and gathering tools. Upgrade slots can be filled on each item with upgrades that give bonus attributes or other effects when the equipment is utilized. These upgrades can be obtained through crafting, purchased from a vendor or taken from the loot.
There are two kinds of upgrades of gemstones and universal upgrades. Universal upgrades are similar to gems and are able to be used in any type of equipment. They offer a lower bonus than other upgrade components. It is easy to obtain these and they are dropped by enemies or looted throughout the world. Gems are, however are gained by disassembling items or completing specific tasks.
Upgrades can be removed and replaced by new ones within the weapon's slot. However, this will destroy any previous upgrades. Other upgrades, with the exception for glyphs that can be placed in gathering tools, are not able to be removed from an item once they are inserted. Infusions can be inserted into legendary or upgraded equipment. Enhancements can only be recovered by using a high-end salvaging kit or upgrade extractor.
Recycled Items
In the two World Wars, the scarcity of natural resources drove the world towards recycling. Recycling things like aluminum, plastic and paper is commonplace. They are given a new life. In fact, recycling saves energy and prevents carbon dioxide from escaping into the atmosphere. It's also a good way to avoid landfills and conserve natural resources. It is still important to be aware of what can be recycled.
A common mistake people make is putting the wrong items in the recycling bin. These items not only contaminate the water, but they can also damage recycling equipment. To avoid this, examine the label and adhere to the guidelines for your recycling program. Cardboard should never be mixed with steel cans. Tissue should also be thrown away. To roll a new item you need to click the dice icon next to the item in your inventory. You can also click the button in a different player's lobby and select "Reroll". After rolling the item, it will disappear from your collection.
You can buy rerolls and other items in-game from Sagbe which is an in-game Token Shop trader. You can also earn free rerolls by redeeming active codes in Fire Force Online. These codes can be used for a variety items, including Reroll Tokens or Clan Reroll Tokens.
Rerolls are useful early in the game as you are building your inventory. They are not the most effective method to boost your character's stats. You should instead focus on gaining more skill points. You can also earn bonus points for completing event tiers.
You can also change your character's race using an reroll token for races, that can be purchased from the Zen Market. The token can be used by certain pack purchases, or the Token Shop. Leveling
The stats of an item and its Power Level will rise when you upgrade an item as part of an upgrade process. The NPC will display the price to upgrade the item. The cost of Technology Points will be included, if applicable. It will also display the cost of an Accelerator, if you have one. Accelerators are available for purchase on the Exchange and can increase the amount of Tech Points gained by an upgrade by 50%. This bonus is not applicable to the chance of a product's quality, which resets once the item reaches the mark level.
The Upgrade NPC also provides a gear transfer service. The Upgrade NPC can also offer a gear transfer service. This lets players save their progress and experience on a piece of equipment and transfer it to a different item that is in the same slot.
